Massive Cannabis Farm Found Inside Derelict Pub

Police uncovered a high-tech cannabis operation with over 200 plants at various growth stages inside the abandoned Unicorn pub on Bath Road. The discovery came after a suspected burglary report on the night of March 14 at around 10:15pm.

Electricity Board Steps In to Make Site Safe

The following day, the electricity board attended and secured the premises, allowing officers to enter safely. The illegal grow-op has since been dismantled.

Investigations Ongoing, No Arrests Yet

So far, no arrests have been made, but cops are working hard to crack the case. They are urging locals to come forward with any info about people or vehicles seen near the derelict pub in recent weeks.

Warning to Public: Report Suspicious Activity

Police warned that organised crime gangs often use abandoned commercial buildings like this for illegal activities.

“We are really keen to hear from anyone who has seen any people entering the derelict pub in recent weeks or any vehicles in attendance at the scene,” said officers. “Any suspicious activity should be reported so we can investigate.”
