Random Hate Attack in Stamford Hill Leaves Man Injured
Police are on the hunt after a vicious hate crime assault in Stamford Hill on Wednesday, 18 August.
Victim Attacked on Way to Synagogue
At around 8.30pm, a 64-year-old man was walking to his synagogue near the junction of Stamford Hill and Colberg Road when he was suddenly struck in a random attack.
The victim suffered facial injuries, fell to the ground, and broke a bone in his foot. He was rushed to hospital and has since been discharged.
Police Seek Suspect and Witnesses
Detectives have released images and footage of a man they want to identify and question in connection with the assault.
Anyone who recognises the suspect or saw the incident is urged to come forward immediately.
