Vile Thug Pushes 92-Year-Old to Ground in Shocking Home Invasion
A heartless crook knocked on a 92-year-old man’s door on Fergusson Road between 2pm and 5pm before violently pushing him to the ground and stealing his wallet.
Thief Gets Away with Wallet and All
The suspect fled with a black leather wallet containing a low two-figure sum of cash, a bank card, and the victim’s bus pass.
Manhunt Underway for Small, Dark-Haired Raider
- Described as white, about 5 feet tall, medium build
- Long dark hair and a local accent
- Dark slacks, jacket, and brown hat
Detective Sergeant Graham Garvie of Livingston CID slammed the crook’s actions. “This despicable individual preyed on a vulnerable elderly man outside his own home,” he said.
Police Urge Locals and Drivers to Help Crack the Case
Fortunately, the victim was not seriously hurt but left shaken by the ordeal.
“It is critical that we find the man responsible,” said Sgt Garvie. “If you were in the area and saw a man matching this description, or noticed anything suspicious, please get in touch.”
He also called on motorists with dashcams to check their footage for clues.
“We are doing everything we can to catch this coward and reassure the community,” added the detective.
