Lorry Driver Battles for Life with Covid-19 in Southend Hospital
Adrian Long, a local lorry driver from Southend, is fighting for his life after contracting Coronavirus. The father of two was rushed to Southend Hospital last Friday, struggling with Covid-19 symptoms and severe breathing difficulties.
Ventilator Struggles and Family’s Despair
By Saturday, Adrian was put on a ventilator. His family now prays desperately that his condition won’t worsen. His sister, Cheryl, has spoken out to warn the public about the harsh reality of this virus.
“For anyone still ignoring government advice and spreading this evil virus, please take a long hard look at my brother and wake up!” Cheryl urged.
She revealed the heart-wrenching scene: “His wife and children had to watch him being taken out of their home on oxygen, unable to communicate. Seeing him like this makes me feel physically sick. He is young and healthy.”
A Warning to the UK: Covid-19 Can Hit Anyone
Cheryl’s message is clear — Covid-19 doesn’t discriminate. “This can affect you and anyone around you, regardless of age or health,” she said.
Desperate to spread the word, Cheryl added: “I’m sure some still won’t accept the seriousness until they see a photo like this. This is not a sympathy plea. It’s a wake-up call. Please stay at home and protect your family.”
Our thoughts are with Adrian and his family. We all hope he pulls through and returns home to his loved ones soon.
