BMW Convertible Flips on M275 – Lanes Shut at Crack of Dawn
Chaos hit the M275 early this morning when a high-powered BMW 325 Convertible flipped onto its roof, forcing police to slam shut two lanes on the northbound carriageway between the M275 and M27 interchange.
Early Morning Crash Causes Major Disruption
The accident happened just before 4am, with the sporty vehicle rolling over before coming to rest upside down. Emergency teams swooped in quickly, shutting lanes and the M27 link road to clear the wreck.
Recovery Experts Save the Day
Specialist recovery crews from Boarhunt used winches to right the seriously damaged convertible. They then loaded it carefully onto a flatbed truck to clear the scene.
Driver’s Condition Unknown, Lanes Reopen
At this stage, police have not released any details about the driver’s condition or injuries. Thankfully, all lanes reopened shortly before 5am, easing traffic disruption.
