Brutal Park Attack: Police Hunt Three Men After Shocking Assault in West Ham

Victim Mobbed in Park Before Being Punched and Kicked

Detectives are on the hunt for three men after a violent assault in West Ham’s Memorial Park. At around 8.30pm on 22 December 2017, a 32-year-old man was approached by two young males asking for a cigarette. When he refused, one launched into a tirade of abuse and started hurling stones.

The victim was chased to nearby Grange Road, where a third man – an older, aggressive driver – suddenly appeared. He punched the man in the face, knocking him to the ground. All three then kicked the victim before the driver sped off and the two younger suspects bolted.

Victim Hospitalised with Broken Jaw and Head Wounds

The victim managed to get home but needed hospital treatment for a deep head cut and a fractured jaw. Police have yet to make any arrests and are appealing for help.
