Cyclist Fighting for Life After Shocking Kenworthy Road Crash
Police are hunting for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious road smash on Kenworthy Road, E9, left a cyclist in his 20s in critical condition.
Crash Details and Arrest
The collision happened around 7.40pm on Sunday, September 10. The young cyclist was hit by a car, which then smashed into another vehicle. Emergency services raced to the scene, and the cyclist was rushed to hospital where he remains in a critical state. His family have been informed.
The driver, a 24-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm by dangerous driving. She is currently in police custody as detectives continue their probe.
Road Closures and Ongoing Investigation
Police shut Kenworthy Road temporarily to manage the scene, but the road has now reopened and traffic has returned to normal.
