Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian sustained serious injuries in a collision involving a car in Westwood, Broadstairs.
The incident occurred between 6:30 PM and 6:40 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025, on Margate Road near the roundabout with New Cross Road. A man in his 60s was struck by a blue Ford, resulting in significant injuries. He was immediately transported to a London hospital, where he remains under medical care.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with officers as part of the ongoing investigation.
Authorities are now seeking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or captured it on dashcam footage to assist in piecing together the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A spokesperson for the police stated: “We are working to establish the full details of this collision and urge anyone who saw what happened or has relevant footage to come forward.
