Cat Slashed to Death in Horrific Attack
A cat was found on a doorstep with brutal slash wounds on September 29 after being let out by its owners that morning. Despite emergency surgery at a local vet, the poor feline tragically died from its injuries today.
Deliberate Attack Sparks Police Investigation
A vet confirmed the wounds were inflicted deliberately. Police have launched an investigation to catch the culprit behind this sickening act. PC Darren Willis said:
“This is clearly an extremely upsetting incident for the owners of this poor cat who had some appalling injuries inflicted on him. We were hoping he would make a recovery but sadly he has died as a result of these injuries today.”
Police Urge Locals to Come Forward
Officers are desperate for any information from the Corston area, especially around Mill Lane. PC Willis added:
“We are really keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity. Even if you didn’t witness anything directly but have information that could lead to the person or persons responsible, please get in touch. This is a horrendous act on an innocent animal.”
