Bookies Robbed After Threatening Note Left on Counter
Staff at the S&D Bookmakers in the Deeping Centre, Godsey Lane, faced a shocking robbery. A man handed over a threatening handwritten note demanding cash. When no money was immediately given, he jumped the counter, grabbed an unknown amount from the till, and fled the scene.
Suspect Description and Escape Route
- White male, about 5ft 8in tall
- Medium build with short brown hair
- Wearing jeans and a blue and red jacket, possibly an anorak
- May have fled on a push bike towards the nearby petrol station
