Elderly Man with Learning Difficulties Brutally Attacked on Essex Road Bus

On Tuesday, 3 January, a 61-year-old man with learning difficulties was viciously attacked on a route 56 bus traveling along Essex Road, N1. The victim was confronted by three youths — two males and one female — who began harassing him.
Attack Turns Violent
When the man tried to stand and leave, the group launched a brutal assault, punching and kicking him repeatedly. The victim cried out for help, prompting the attackers to flee. He was left badly injured with two black eyes and profound distress.
