Teen Thugs Target Shoreham Victims in Linked Night-Time Attacks
Shoreham was rocked by two daring robberies last night (Tuesday 6 October), with police hunting three teens linked to both incidents.
Teens Ambushed and Stripped Near Crown Road
At around 10.30pm, two teenage boys walking along Middle Road near Crown Road were set upon by three youths. The attackers shoved them to the ground and snatched a rucksack and a bumbag packed with valuables including a speaker, headphones, tobacco, an inhaler, a mobile phone, clothes, and cards.
Witnesses say the suspects fled in a small black car with two others inside. Thankfully, a passing woman stopped to check on the injured boys.
Second Raid Minutes Later in Shoreham
Just 45 minutes later, near St Julian’s Lane and Kingston Lane, a 23-year-old man was ambushed by five youths believed to have just jumped out of the same small black car. He was punched repeatedly, then robbed of his phone, wallet, and rucksack containing clothes and medication.
The attackers sped off north along Kingston Lane.
Police Call for Witnesses and Footage
Officers describe at least two suspects as white, late teens, wearing hooded jackets—one sporting a black North Face with the hood up, another with blond hair.
Police urge anyone with information or dashcam/CCTV footage to come forward. Residents are also asked to spot any low-value stolen goods that might have been discarded.
