Man in His 50s Brutally Attacked on Riverside Walkway

A man in his 50s was punched three times in the face and suffered bruises after an attack on a riverside path behind a local recreation ground. The assault happened around 5.30pm on Saturday, September 12.

Three Young Men Suspected in Violent Assault

The victim was set upon by a group of three males. The first suspect is described as white, slim, aged 17-20, with dark hair and distinctive neck tattoos. The second is similarly aged and built but notably taller. The third, who stayed out of the attack, was stockier with short fair hair.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

PC Michelle Haley said: “We know there were a number of witnesses to the incident, including one man who intervened and threatened to call the police. If you saw what happened, or recognise any of the suspects, please get in touch.”
