Man Critically Injured in Early Morning Crash on Mile End Road
Police are hunting for witnesses and dash cam footage after a serious collision in Tower Hamlets. The crash happened at around 3.15am on Wednesday, 1 January, when a man was hit by a car on Mile End Road.
Pedestrian in Critical Condition
Emergency crews, including the London Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene. The victim, a 50-year-old man, was treated on site before being rushed to hospital. He remains in a critical condition.
Driver Stops, Police Investigate
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. No arrests have been made yet as enquiries continue into the crash.
