Teen Attacked in Shocking Park Lane Incident
At around 10.10pm on Thursday, April 20, a 16-year-old boy was walking home from the gym along Park Lane when a dark blue Volkswagen Golf pulled up beside him near the National Probation Service offices.
Driver Jumps Out and Assaults Teen
The driver quickly jumped out and attacked the youngster, leaving him with cuts and scrapes on his arm and face. After the assault, the attacker jumped back into the car and sped off west along Marshfield Road.
Good Samaritan Steps In
Shortly after, a white Mercedes stopped nearby, and the driver got out to help the injured teen. Police are urgently trying to track down the occupants of this car as they could hold vital information about the suspect.
