Hate Crime Shock in Hampstead: Anti-Semitic Graffiti Sparks Police Probe
Police are hunting vandals behind a spate of anti-Semitic graffiti spotted in Hampstead and Belsize Park late on Saturday, 28 December. The shocking hate crime was reported around 11.30pm, with scrawls defacing shop fronts and local spots.
No Arrests Yet as Police Crack Down
So far, no arrests have been made, but officers remain on high alert. Inspector Kev Hailes said: “This is clearly a concerning incident and one we are taking seriously.”
He added, “We have liaised with our partners to swiftly remove the graffiti. Various enquiries are underway to find those responsible.” Police are ramping up patrols across the area to reassure residents.

Inspector Hailes also appealed to the public: “Please approach us if you have any questions or concerns. I urge anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch.”
