Tragic Crash After High-Speed Police Chase in Margate
At 11:25 a.m., a dark Audi TT ignored police orders to stop on Shottendane Road, Margate. A brief but intense chase ensued.
Just five minutes later, the Audi smashed into a bus on Spitfire Way, Manston. The 23-year-old driver from Margate died instantly at the scene.
Fatal Pursuit Ends in Collision
The driver suffered fatal injuries following the crash. Police quickly sealed off the area and launched a full investigation.
Police Probe Underway
The case will be handed over to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, in line with standard procedure.
