Police dealing with a Person in Distress on Dartford Bridge
Two lanes have been closed on the QE2 Bridge in Dartford. Whilst police officer and Paramedics deal with and attended to getting a distress man some help. It is is understood the man is sat on the bridge parapet with specialist police negotiators talk to the man. Drivers are being urged to avoid the Dartford Crossing after a police incident. Essex Police says it is currently at the scene after receiving a call with concerns for a man’s welfare at 7am this morning UPDATE:The incident caused significant traffic disruption, but the bridge remained open, but was operating with just two lanes open. ESSEX Police have said The man has been brought to safety and is receiving suitable medical treatment.
