Man Left with Serious Head Injuries After Sutton Collision
Police are probing a major crash in Sutton after a man was badly injured in a hit-and-run scare. The smash happened at 3.55pm on Saturday, 25 May, on Central Road near the Green Lane junction in Worcester Park.
Pedestrian Hit by Van in Worcester Park
A 40-year-old man was struck by a black Mercedes Vito van. He suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to a south London hospital. His next of kin have been informed, but police are still awaiting an update on his condition.
Driver Stops at Scene, No Arrests
The van driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with officers. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the collision.
