Police Release E-Fit of Camden Rape Suspect

Detectives have issued an e-fit of a man wanted over a brutal rape in Camden. The shocking attack happened late on Sunday, 26 November 2017.

Victim Attacked After Night Out

The 21-year-old victim had been enjoying a concert with friends at the Electric Ballroom on Camden High Street. After the gig, she visited a nearby pub before leaving around 2:20am.

As she walked alone down Camden Mews, headphones on, a man suddenly grabbed her shoulder and launched a violent assault. He repeatedly struck her before kicking her legs, knocking her to the ground. The attacker then raped her and fled the scene.

Suspect Description and Appeal

  • White male, 25-35 years old
  • Dark hair and moustache
  • Possibly spoke with a Manchester accent

Detective Constable Alastair Semple from Central North Command Unit said: “This was a horrific attack on a woman who was heading home after a night out with her friends. I urge anyone with information to come forward and help us catch this monster.”
