Wheelie Bin Ram Raid Sparks Police Manhunt in Sandhurst

A brazen gang launched a ram raid on a Yateley bookmakers early Monday, smashing the front of the Coral shop with a wheelie bin before fleeing with cash. Thames Valley Police are hunting the crooks after the terrifying break-in at 4.30am on Yorktown Road, Sandhurst.

Bookies Front Wrecked in Shocking Raid

The front of the Coral bookmakers was completely destroyed after the suspects repeatedly rammed a wheelie bin into the glass. CCTV captured the full attack as the gang made off with an undisclosed haul of cash from the premises, just half a mile from the prestigious Royal Military Academy.

Detectives Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Officers from Bracknell CID are combing the area and appeal for anyone with information to come forward. They want to hear from anyone who saw the suspects or anything suspicious during the early hours.

“Enquiries are ongoing into the incident,” said a police spokesperson. “Anyone with information should contact us on 101 quoting UR number 116 of October, 2017.”
