Young man stabbed to death in Barking street horror

Detectives have named the victim of a fatal stabbing in Barking. Police were called just after 11.30pm on Thursday, 17 May, following reports of a man stabbed on Crows Road near Harts Lane.

Tragic death of Abdulrahman ‘Mani’ Nassor Juma

Officers and paramedics found 24-year-old Abdulrahman Nassor Juma, known as Mani, suffering from stab wounds. Despite first aid from police and medical teams, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem at Queens Hospital Mortuary confirmed the cause of death as stab wounds to the chest. Mani’s next of kin have been informed.

Murder probe launched

The Homicide and Major Crime Command, led by Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Packer, has launched a murder investigation. So far, no arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing.
