Corrosive Liquid Thrown at Southampton School
Hampshire Police are hunting suspects after a bottle of potentially corrosive liquid was hurled over a fence at Springwell School’s temporary site on Yeovil Chase.
The incident happened on Tuesday 3rd December 2019 between 10am and 10.15am. Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Police Take Incident Seriously
Authorities understand the shock this will cause among staff, pupils, and parents across Southampton. “We are treating this matter very seriously,” said a police spokesperson.
Increased Patrols and School Cooperation
Hampshire Police have stepped up patrols in the area and are working closely with the school to identify and catch those responsible.
