Mystery of Young Woman Found Dead on Brighton Beach
Sussex Police are still hunting for clues to ID a young woman whose body washed up on Saltdean beach near Brighton nearly three months ago.
Body Discovered at Water’s Edge in Saltdean
On December 20, a passerby spotted the woman’s body lying at the water’s edge in Saltdean and called the police. Despite thorough investigations, her identity remains a mystery.
Police Release Tattoo Photos to Aid Identification
The force have now published photos of distinctive tattoos on the woman’s arms and legs, hoping someone will recognise them and come forward.
Victim Profile and Latest Details
- White female, aged 20-25
- Height: Around 5’4″
- Build: Slim to medium
- Clothing: Purple sports bra, dark mauve sports leggings, black Converse boots with original white trim
Officers believe she entered the water less than 24 hours before being found and may have gone in further west along the coast before tides carried her to Saltdean.
