Man Arrested After Woman Dies in Hove High-Rise Fall
Tragic Fall from 7th Floor
Detectives have arrested a man following the death of a woman in Hove. At 5:53am on Saturday 18 January, police were called to Clarendon House, Clarendon Road, where a woman in her early 30s was found having fallen from the 7th floor of the flats.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Murder Probe Underway
The Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team launched an investigation. A 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Authorities say the man and woman knew each other.
Investigation in Early Stages
The case has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), due to recent police contact with both individuals. No further details have been released as the inquiry continues.
