A man was stabbed in Hucknall in the early hours of Wednesday morning but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The victim was treated with first aid at the scene before being rushed to hospital.

Two Men Arrested after Stabbing in Hucknall

The attack happened around 1.10am on Nabbs Lane. Police arrested two 27-year-old men on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm—one at the scene, the other at a nearby address.

Police Step Up Patrols Amidst Ongoing Investigation

Officers have increased patrols in the area to reassure the public while the probe continues. Detective Sergeant Lauren Morgan stressed swift police action and first aid saved the victim lives.

“We will always respond quickly to serious incidents involving violence, such as knife crime, and where there is an immediate threat to safety.” “In this instance, officers were able to give first aid extremely quickly to the victim while carrying out inquiries at the scene.”

Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam or mobile footage to come forward.
