Tragic Crash in London Road: Woman in Her 90s Killed

A pedestrian and a motorbike collided on London Road at around 4.50pm on 2 April 2019. The elderly woman, in her 90s, was treated by paramedics but sadly died at the scene.

Motorbike Rider Arrested and Admits Causing Death

The motorbike rider, 24-year-old James Williams from Croft Mead, Chichester, was arrested following the crash. He appeared at Basildon Crown Court on Monday 9 November and pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving.

Sentencing Set for January
