Second Man Arrested After Fatal Stabbing in Chatham

A deadly stabbing in Chatham has led to a second arrest as police continue their investigation.

Early Morning Horror on Thorold Road

Kent Police were called to a private property on Thorold Road at 3:11am on Tuesday, 2 December 2025, following reports of an assault. Emergency crews found a 19-year-old man inside with stab wounds. Despite paramedics’ efforts, he was confirmed dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Two Men in Custody Over Fatal Attack

A 32-year-old man from Chatham was arrested the same day in connection with the stabbing and remains in custody. Hours later, police arrested an 18-year-old man from Greenford, London. He too remains in custody as inquiries continue.

Investigation Underway – Police Seek Witnesses

Officers have maintained a cordon at the scene, though an adjacent alleyway has been reopened. Detectives urge anyone with information to come forward. Residents with CCTV or drivers with dashcam footage are also asked to check their recordings for any relevant clues.
