Gun and Knife Chaos at Illegal London Block Party
Police were called after an illegal block party spiralled into violence, leaving one man stabbed and shot in south London.
Man in Mid-20s Seriously Injured
London Ambulance Service rushed to Moorland Road, SW9, at 9.37pm on Wednesday, June 2, after reports of an injured man. Officers, including firearms teams and London’s Air Ambulance, arrived fast.
The victim, a man in his mid-20s, suffered gunshot wounds and stab injuries. He was rushed to a south London hospital. His condition remains unknown.
Tensions Rise as Police Face Angry Crowd
On-scene officers were met by a large, hostile group who threw objects at them. A crime scene was quickly established, and police remain in the area.
Area Under Lockdown with Heavy Police Presence
Cold Harbour Road and surrounding streets are on lockdown. About 30 police vehicles and officers in riot gear with long shields have formed a containment zone to control the chaos.
