17-Year-Old Teen Seriously Stabbed in Orchard Village, Rainham

Drama erupted in Orchard Village Estate, Rainham, on Monday morning as a 17-year-old boy was viciously stabbed. The attack, which happened just after 10:00 AM on May 26, has left the teen with serious injuries.

Police revealed the youth suffered a deep stab wound to the thigh during a confrontation involving a group of young people on Lower Mardyke Avenue. The Metropolitan Police quickly launched an urgent investigation following the violent incident.

Heroic Residents Rush To Aid Victim

Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene as the injured teen collapsed near residential flats, crying out for help. Quick-thinking residents sprang into action, administering emergency first aid until paramedics and officers arrived. The victim was then airlifted to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition. Thankfully, while the injuries could be life-changing, they are not currently considered life-threatening.

Police Launch Manhunt, Ask Witnesses To Speak Up

A Met Police spokesperson told Havering Daily: “A 17-year-old boy suffered a stab wound following an altercation in Lower Mardyke Avenue at around 10:09 on Monday. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and later taken to hospital where he remains. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening but may potentially be life-changing. At this early stage, no arrests have been made. A crime scene is in place while initial enquiries are conducted.”
