The family of five-year-old Freddie Farrow have paid a heartfelt tribute after the little boy died from fatal injuries sustained in a freak accident at a Colchester high street shop.

His mother, Natasha Ingham, spoke of the devastating loss: “He will never leave us. He will be with us every single day throughout all our lives – until we see him again.”
She described Freddie as a “lovely little boy” with a cheeky streak, recalling how he’d pick daisies for her daily and say “I love you.”
“He was so content; always asking questions. Every mum says this, but he was a clever little boy.”
Natasha thanked the local community and wider public for their overwhelming support during this heartbreaking time.

Freddie’s father, Andrew Farrow, paid tribute to his son’s spirit and joyous nature. “I’m grateful for the time we had with Freddie,” he said.

School Pays Respect to ‘Little Star’ Freddie
Freddie had just completed Year 1 at Gosbecks Primary School, where staff and pupils are still reeling from the tragedy.
Head of School Polly Bradford said:
“Freddie was a much-loved member of our school community. His sensitive and caring nature shone through with friends. He was polite, well-mannered, and quietly thoughtful.” “We saw him grow in confidence and take pride in his achievements. His smile and unique character touched all who knew him.” “Words cannot describe the loss felt by those who loved Freddie. He will be in our hearts forever.”
The family had planned a trip to Lego Land for Freddie’s sixth birthday before he was due to start Year 2.
