Tragic Murder Shakes New Haw: Gary, 42, Dies After Brutal Assault
Gary, 42, from New Haw, has died following a shocking assault on Heathervale Road on Monday evening (4 October). Loved ones remember him as a “heart of gold” with a “lovable goof” personality who would “do anything for anyone.”
Police Launch Murder Probe, Several Arrests Made
Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team are leading the investigation. Officers remain at the scene gathering crucial evidence. The following suspects were arrested but later released under investigation:
- Two 18-year-old men from New Haw
- A 28-year-old man from New Haw
- A 19-year-old man with no fixed address
A 31-year-old man from New Haw remains in custody on suspicion of murder.
