Three Men Held After Shocking Bognor Seafront Rape Attack

Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a 19-year-old local woman was raped in the early hours on Bognor seafront. Three men, aged 23, 25 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of the attack that took place shortly after 2am on Saturday, 9 March.

Crime Scene Scoured for Clues

Police have forensically examined the beach near the pier and a nearby alleyway as part of their investigation. Detective Inspector Sally Arbuckle from the West Sussex Safeguarding Unit urged anyone who was near the area to come forward.

“We want to hear from anyone who was around Bognor Pier, Sheiks nightclub, Waterloo Square, Norfolk Square, the Peri-Peri kebab shop, or the beach between 2am and 3.30am on that Saturday morning and saw anything suspicious,” DI Arbuckle said.
