Police Bust Massive Cannabis Haul in Bobbers Mill

Officers stopped a car on Nuthall Road, Bobbers Mill, after a tip-off linked it to drug activity. A swift search just after 8.20pm on Sunday, 13 August, uncovered two bags packed with cannabis.

Cash, Phones, and Dealer Gear Seized

But that wasn’t all. Police also found thousands of pounds in cash, multiple mobiles, dealer bags, and weighing scales inside the vehicle.

Three Suspects Arrested for Drug Supply

Two 30-year-old men and a 25-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.

Chief Inspector Amy English from Nottinghamshire Police said: “After receiving intelligence this car could be linked to the supply of drugs, our officers acted fast to stop the vehicle and seize large quantities of cannabis.”

“We don’t want anyone dealing drugs in our communities because of the massive damage it causes to people’s lives. Nottinghamshire Police will always respond firmly to reports of suspected drug dealing.”

“Three suspects have been arrested but investigations continue. We urge anyone with information to call 101, quoting incident 696 of 13 August 2023.”
