Drugs Bust in Ramsgate Car Park Sparks Two Arrests
Police swooped on a Ramsgate car park after reports of suspicious activity near Sussex Street on Wednesday, 17 July 2024.
Suspicious Caravan Sparks Police Action
Officers arrived to investigate a caravan frequently visited by unknown individuals. Although no one was caught at the scene initially, police seized cannabis, white powder, clip-seal bags, and drug paraphernalia.
Man and Teen Girl Nabbed with Drugs and Cash
Shortly after, police detained a man and a teenage girl nearby. The haul included more drugs, cash, and several mobile phones.
“The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and B drugs with intent to supply,” police confirmed.
The girl was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. Both remain in custody awaiting further enquiries.
