Two suspects were hauled in over suspected firearms offences following a tense incident in Leeds. A 24-year-old man and 25-year-old woman were arrested after armed police raided three homes in the city in the early hours today.
Police Crackdown After Bullet Casing Found
The arrests come after a July 9 street disturbance near Cross Gates Lane involving men in cars. Officers later discovered a spent bullet casing at the scene, sparking a major probe by West Yorkshire Police’s Firearms Prevent and Investigations Team.

Both the man and woman remain in custody as inquiries continue. Police have not yet revealed further details but are urging anyone with information to come forward.
