Two Teens Arrested After Armed Disturbance Rocks Ashford Town Centre

Kent Police swooped on Ashford Town Centre following reports of a violent disturbance in County Square just after 1.30pm on Tuesday, 4 February 2020. Witnesses spotted a group causing trouble, some allegedly armed, before scattering.

No Injuries, But Tensions High

Thankfully, no one was hurt during the incident. However, the sight of weapons sent shockwaves through the usually peaceful town centre.

Quick Arrests Thanks to Police Air Support

With help from the National Police Air Service, officers quickly tracked down and arrested two local boys aged 16 and 17. Both were taken into custody as police continue their investigation.
