Two Held After Woman Murdered in Margate
Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a woman was fatally stabbed at a private home in Margate.
At around 3:10 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, officers were called to Elfrida Close following reports of an assault. Paramedics found the woman, in her 30s, with stab wounds. She later died at a nearby hospital.
Man and Woman Arrested in Murder Probe
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of murder by Kent and Essex Serious Crime investigators. A woman in her 20s was also held on suspicion of murder and assisting a criminal. Both remain in custody as the investigation continues. Police say the victim and suspects knew each other.
Police Seek Crucial Witnesses and CCTV
Officers have already spoken with several potential witnesses but believe there are others with vital information,” said Kent Police.
