Knife Attack in Northampton Leaves Two Injured

Northampton police are hunting witnesses after a violent knife assault injured two people in Eastfield this afternoon.

The attack happened at around 3:50pm on Grange Road, involving a woman in her 20s and a man in his 50s. Both victims are now being treated for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police Say Victims Knew Each Other

“Officers were called at about 3:50 pm to reports of an altercation in Grange Road,” said Detective Inspector Nick Peters from Northampton CID.

“A woman in her 20s and a man in his 50s were injured in the incident for which they are currently receiving treatment.”

“At this time we believe this to be an isolated incident, involving people who are known to one another.”

Police Call for Witnesses and Footage

Northamptonshire Police urge anyone who saw the incident or has relevant dash-cam or smart doorbell footage to come forward.
