Car Goes Up in Flames in Sittingbourne – Fire Crew Race to Scene
Kent Fire and Rescue Service sprang into action after a car burst into flames in Crown Quay Lane, Sittingbourne, early Tuesday morning.
Blaze Tackled Swiftly at Dawn
The alarm was raised at 7:19am on November 7, 2023. A fire engine and crew arrived sharpish, with firefighters geared up in breathing apparatus. They doused the fire quickly using a high-pressure hose reel jet, preventing the blaze from spreading.
No Injuries but Car Damage Under Investigation
Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fiery incident. Firefighters brought the situation under control fast. However, the cause of the blaze and how badly the vehicle was damaged remain unknown as investigations continue.
