A tragic incident has unfolded in Malton, North Yorkshire, where a 10-year-old girl has died after sustaining serious injuries from a dog attack at her family home. The North Yorkshire Police were alerted to the situation around 4:15 p.m. on Friday, November 1.
Despite efforts from medical professionals and a member of the public who rushed to assist the family, the young girl was pronounced dead at the scene. The devastating loss has left the community in shock.
Prior to the arrival of the police, a family member managed to secure the dog inside a car. Officers seized the animal upon their arrival, and it has since been taken to a kennel where it currently remains.
