Residents were left reeling after a party at Wilmcote House went south just after 8.30pm on Friday. Police were called to the scene amid reports of an attack, sparking a lockdown on the tower block’s third floor.

Seven police cars, armed officers, and an ambulance arrived promptly. Officers have advised residents to stay clear as they handle the ongoing incident. The situation remains tense as cops take statements and work to calm nerves.
Victims Known Locally, Residents Express Shock
Neighbours revealed the victims are well-known and liked. One witness said both men are in relationships, one dating a mother, the other her daughter. The victims have been named as Connor Collins, who works at a local burger joint, and Craig Howard, a groundwork labourer.
Two Injured, Attackers Still at Large?
Both victims were rushed to hospital. Police have yet to confirm if the suspects are still on the loose. Hampshire Constabulary have been approached for an official statement as the investigation continues.
