Man Charged After Christmas Day Stabbing in Holloway Road

Amar Nafazy, 55, of Holloway Road, has been charged after a stabbing on Christmas Day. Police found a man seriously injured at a Holloway Road home at 4.55pm on Sunday, 25 December, following welfare concerns.

Victim Dies at Scene

Emergency teams, including London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene. Despite their efforts, the 54-year-old victim, later identified as Claudius Francis, was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem on Monday confirmed he died from multiple stab wounds.

Investigation Underway

Nafazy was charged on Boxing Day and will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 27 December. Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation. Claudius’s family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
