Man sadly dies at Runnymede Roundabout roadworks
Officers attended the road works at the Runnymede Roundabout, Egham, overnight following the death of a worker at the location. Surrey Police officers, and paramedics from the ambulance service, were called at around 12.50 this morning (1 June) to reports that a man had been injured in a collision with plant machinery at the site. Sadly he passed away at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The Health and Safety Executive has been informed of the death.
