Rural cops have smashed a string of vehicle thefts, recovering a haul of seven stolen rides from high-value cars to a tipper truck.

£186,000 Holland Tractor Among Stolen Haul

The crown jewel was a brand-new Holland tractor worth £186,000. Reported nicked in Maidstone on January 18, it was abandoned just two days later in West Peckham.

Motorbikes and Mercedes HGV Nabbed

  • On January 23, officers found a £4,000 Yamaha motorbike in Aylesford, reported stolen earlier that month.
  • Four days later, an £80,000 Mercedes HGV linked to a theft in Paddock Wood was found in Tonbridge.

Rural Task Force Credit Close-Knit Communities

Sergeant Darren Walshaw of the Rural Task Force said: “We regularly recover stolen vehicles thanks to strong bonds with rural residents and businesses. Tools like Farm Watcher UK and Country Eye help locals report suspicious activity fast.”

He added: “Many victims just want their vehicles back in one piece, and we’re proud to deliver that while continuing investigations to catch those responsible.”
