A 17-year-old boy, who remains anonymous due to legal protections, has been charged with a public order offence in relation to an incident that occurred at the Manchester City versus Brighton match on Saturday, October 21. He is scheduled to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Youth Court on November 13, 2023, where he will face the charges brought against him.

In a related development, a 14-year-old boy, who was voluntarily interviewed in connection with the same incident, will be dealt with outside the court system. The nature of this out-of-court resolution has not been disclosed at this time.
