Detective warns against knife crime
“The seriousness of this incident is reflected in the prison sentence,” said Det Con Mark Ackroyd of Wakefield CID. “Using a knife in crime almost always leads to jail. Thankfully, no lives were lost this time, but it could have been far worse. Anyone willing to use a knife endangers the public. We will continue to hunt down offenders and keep our streets safe.”
