Young Pervert Jack Stott Locked Up for Sex Attacks on Woman and Girl

Jack Stott, 19, from Orion Close, Southampton, was slammed with a three-year jail sentence at Southampton Crown Court on Friday (13 May). He pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman and a child under 13.

Daylight Attacks Shock Southampton

The first sick attack happened on 1 December last year in Shirley. Stott cycled past a 24-year-old woman, then doubled back to grope her over her clothes.

Just two weeks later, on 14 December, he struck again on Wimpson Lane. This time, the victim was a 12-year-old girl walking with a friend. Stott pinned her to the ground and assaulted her over her clothes before her friend managed to help her escape.

Police Praise Victims’ Bravery

“These awful incidents happened in broad daylight and have had a lasting impact on both victims,” said DC Keith Evans, who led the investigation.

“Stott is a dangerous sexual predator and now he is behind bars.”

“I commend the bravery of the victims throughout the investigation. This sentence shows our commitment to ridding our community of dangerous offenders.”

“If you’ve been a victim of sexual assault or rape, please come forward. We’ll treat you with respect and fight to get you justice.”

Additional Violence Leads to More Jail Time

On the same day, Stott was also sentenced for a violent attack back in February 2021 in Orion Close, Southampton. He hurled abuse at a man in his 50s and rode his bike at a woman in her 70s, braking so sharply her shins were grazed. The thug then shoved her into mud, bruising her hand and wrist.

The man managed to escape by shutting his door before Stott could reach him.

For these assaults, Stott received an additional four months for actual bodily harm and three months for common assault, to run alongside his three-year sentence. He’s also slapped with a restraining order banning contact with the victims.
