Big Drug Bust Rocks New Milton
Hampshire cops launched a double whammy of drug raids in New Milton at the crack of dawn on 1 October. The early-morning swoop saw officers seize a hefty haul of Class A drugs and stacks of cash, hitting the local supply chain hard.
Two Simultaneous Raids Target Doe Copse Estate
The crack team, made up of Neighbourhood and Response officers, pounced at 6am on homes in Fawn Gardens and Antler Drive within the Doe Copse Estate. One property yielded both Class A drugs and cash, while the other held suspected drug money.
Two Men in Custody After Suspected Supply Arrests
A 24-year-old and a 23-year-old were snapped up on suspicion of dealing Class A drugs. Both remain in custody as police dig deeper into the case.
Community Support Vital in Tackling Drug Crime
Sergeant Kat Smith, Lymington and New Milton policing lead, said: “Drug dealing of any kind will not be tolerated. Those involved face robust action. These warrants only happen because the community steps up with information.”
“Your tip-offs give us the evidence to get warrants and bring offenders to justice. We thank local residents for their cooperation.”
Neighbourhood teams and PCSOs are hitting the streets for door-to-door checks and reassuring locals.
