Drug Dealer Busted with £2,600 Worth of Cocaine and Cannabis in Northumberland

Officers Spot Suspect, Find Stash Hidden in Car
Officers noticed Duka’s car parked again 45 minutes later on Milton Street. When they approached, he gave a false name. Sensing something shady, they searched the vehicle.

Duka Jailed for Over Three Years
Duka, 24, from Shakespeare Drive, Harrow, London, was arrested on the spot. The drugs’ street value came in between £1,550 and £2,600. He was charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, plus carrying a bladed article in public.
The defendant pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court and was handed a hefty sentence of three years and four months on 23 October.

“Our officers patrol in uniform and plain clothes and are always alert for suspicious activity that suggests drug dealing is taking place,” said Detective Inspector Martin Williams.
“Anybody seeking to establish themselves as a dealer in this area should be left in no doubt that we will identify who they are and swiftly bring them to justice.”
